Detox Body Wraps |
|
So I've just started WW..I do use body wraps, specifically the Boot Camp Detox Body Wrap .so far, I love it!! I'm learning a lot more about portion control and stuff....but my biggest issue seems to be lunch....I bring my lunch to work....and while we have two fridges, they are always crammed full of stuff, so I prefer not to bother....I used to bring a sandwich (I'm a vegetarian, so it was usually just a cheese sandwich), chips, fruit snacks...stuff that an elementary school kid would like in their lunch I guess....I've revamped it...switching to low fat cheese, whole grain bread, adding celery and carrot sticks and popcorn and occassionally grapes, raisins or almonds....but my highest point meal is still lunch!! Any suggestions on items that don't have to be refrigerated that I could bring for lunch??Thanks!

can you bring a small cooler style lunch box/bag that you could keep stuff cold in? That might give you a few more options. I'm struggling coming up with stuff for you. And I'm not vegetarian.... so that really limits me! *lol* I'm a sandwhich eater at lunch too...... I'll keep pondering and see what I can come up with~

Do you have access to a microwave? I would suggest some frozen meals (maybe the freezer isn't as jam packed as the fridge??) or I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the progresso soup line. The only problem I see for you is that each can is really 2 servings so I don't know what you would with the other serving. Although...eating 2 servings of their soup is only 1 or 2 points.....and it would REALLY fill you up!!! It sounds like you have a lot of variety already so you are on the right track. I will keep thinking of things....

Try the vegetarian Boca line of frozen foods (if you have access to a freezer.) The Boca chili is packed with protein so it'll stay with you. it's a pretty big serving (10 oz, I think) for only 2 pts. It's expensive, almost $4 where I live - but you can pair it with fruit and some whole wheat crackers and still have a filling, low-point lunch.

The freezer is even more packed than the fridge....because everyone brings frozen lunches for like the whole week, and the line for the microwave is insane!! I do normally carry a little insulated lunch bag though....and I freeze a bottle of water and use that to cool things, then its thawed by lunch time....just sweats a little, so everything has to be wrapped up good....I tried a wrap today with whole wheat tortilla and used that bagged salad stuff, the broccolli slaw mix) as a filler with some hummus....only 3 points! Much better than my 6+ point sandwich!

I don't know in your grocery, I found a new product called " DELI WRAPS" it's by Hillshire Farms. It's basically a tomato and basil tortilla ( you get 2) and sauce mix, and whatever meat we get in it. The one's we tried were the southwestern chicken wrap, and the turkey club wrap. Oh my it was good. And it fills you up.

I bring freezer dinners and just leave them in my purse. They are frozen and by the tie I am ready to eat they had thawed an I only have to microwave them about 2 minutes. Leave a Reply. |
